Shine Kids Therapy Clinic is a team of experienced and dedicated Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Therapy Assistants, and Clinic Administrators.

 Our Psychologists

Jennifer Farrell – Principal Psychologist & Director

Jennifer has a Master of Child and Educational Psychology and has worked as a play-based Psychologist for over 22 years.  Jennifer has additional qualifications in play and sandtray therapy, relaxation and mindfulness, and behaviour interventions, using a collaborative parenting approach.  Jennifer works with children, adolescents, and parents. Parenting sessions and anxiety management are a large part of Jennifer’s work.  Jennifer completes assessments, conducts school and kinder visits, and runs the anxiety management program at the clinic.  

Jennifer monitors all therapy work in the clinic, supervises, mentors, and guides the therapists to produce effective outcomes for all clients at the clinic. Jennifer works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during school hours.  

 

Our Occupational Therapists

Airlie Barwell

Airlie has a Master of Occupational Therapy. Airlie works with children and families in all areas of sensory processing, emotional regulation, self-care independence, and fine and gross motor skills. She has a personal interest in ADHD and behaviour related difficulties working with a positive behaviour focus. Airlie also runs our group programs and conducts functional assessments and funding applications. 

Airlie is available Tuesday and Thursdays at Shine Kids Therapy Clinic.

 

Camille Evangelista

Camille has a Master of Occupational Therapy. Camille works with children and families in all areas of sensory processing, emotional regulation, self-care independence, and fine and gross motor skills.

Camille has a personal interest in using neuro-affirming therapy to support kids with or without diagnoses to be the best version of themselves. She is also passionate about using games, play and evidence based practice to support children and their families to engage in school, play, family, and living.

Camille is available Tuesday through to Friday at Shine Kids Therapy Clinic.

Wincy Wong

Wincy has a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). She has experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, challenging behaviours and genetic disorders. She enjoys working closely with families to transfer the skills that children have learned in therapy to home and school. She works with children and families in all areas of development which includes fine motor, gross motor, self-care independence, social skills, and sensory processing. Wincy also conducts functional assessments for funding applications and assessments for school readiness.

Wincy is available Wednesday and Fridays. She is bilingual and speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

 

Our Speech Pathologists

Natasha McVicar

Natasha has a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. She enjoys working with preschool and school-aged children with a range of speech and language difficulties. 

Natasha has experience in delivering individual and small group programs to target areas such as communication, play, literacy, swallowing/mealtime, speech and language development. She is trained in the Augmented Communication devices. She is passionate about collaborating with individuals and their families to develop individualised programs to maximise their potential.
