Shine Kids Therapy Clinic is a team of experienced and dedicated Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Therapy Assistants, and Clinic Administrators.
Our exceptional team are here to help you with all aspects of your child’s development, family life, and any of life challenges. Our professional team work closely together to meet your child’s goals and to promote positive changes in your family’s lives.
Jenny has a Master of Child and Educational Psychology and worked as a Psychologist for almost 20 years. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and their families conducting educational assessments, providing counselling, supportive parenting, and group programs. She has worked in school and community settings as well as many years in private practice.
Jenny works with children with ASD, developmental delays or gifted, anxiety, emotional and behavioural regulation difficulties, and social development. Jenny has additional training in challenging behaviours and works with families from the Thoughtful Parenting and Collaborative Parenting frameworks.
Jenny is also a qualified Sandtray therapist and had additional training in relaxation therapy, art and play therapy, and is passionate about helping children and their families live more connected and meaningful lives.
Jenny completes educational/cognitive assessments, ASD assessments, individual counselling, behavioural and emotional development, as well as parenting support and strategies. Jenny also visit schools, kindergarten, and childcare centers to further support children’s development and their families.
Jenny operates the Secret Agent Society program, Peaceful Kids program, Bringing Up Great Kids Program, and the school readiness programs at Shine Kids Therapy Clinic.
Our Occupational Therapists
Naomi has a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). She has a special interest in Paediatrics. Naomi enjoys working with children with a range of delays and disabilities, and assisting family’s with strategies to support their child’s development. She has experience with supporting sensory processing, emotional regulation, self-care independence and fine and gross motor skill building. Naomi also has NDIS experience through her previous role as an ECEI Coordinator.
Naomi will be providing individual and group based therapy at Shine Kids Therapy Clinic, including holiday programs, social skills groups, and school readiness groups.
Our Speech Pathologists
Michelle has a Masters in Speech Pathology. She enjoys working with preschool and school-aged children with a range of speech and language difficulties. Michelle has a special interest in stuttering. She has experience in the assessment and management of children with stuttering and with children with a range of speech and language delays. Michelle believes that families are integral to a child’s treatment and is dedicated to working collaboratively with them.
As well as a range of individual therapies, Michelle operates the Lego-Based Therapy groups, Social Skills groups, and Hanen groups at Shine Kids Therapy Clinic. Michelle is bilingual and speaks English and Mandarin.
Min-Li has a Masters of Speech Pathology degree. Her experiences include working with preschool and school-aged children, including children with special needs (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Down Syndrome). She has experience in delivering individual and small group programs to target areas such as communication, play, literacy, swallowing/ mealtime, speech and language development. She is trained in the Little Learners Love Literacy (literacy program), DIR Floortime 101, Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S.) Approach (feeding/ mealtime), and Key Word Sign. She is passionate about collaborating with individuals and their families to develop individualised programs to maximise their potential.
As well as a range of individual therapies, Min-Li operates the Little Learners Love Literacy groups, social skills groups, and school readiness groups at Shine Kids Therapy Clinic.
Our Clinic Admin Team
Kathryn (commonly known as Kat) is our enthusiastic, well-organized, office manager who answers your phone calls, emails, and makes your appointments with a smile! If you have any questions, just ask Kat. She is also our toy repairer, puppy trainer, and general can-do fix it person. Kat also has an unconditional love for dogs, if you wish to send in your photos of your favourite pooches, it will make her day.

Therapy Dog in Training
Stella is our therapy dog in training. At the moment, Stella is our high energy puppy but is oh so happy to great everyone at the door with kisses and cuddles!
